Storage Building
Stony Plain, AB
This letter is to let you know how pleased we are with our new shed.
In the past, we never seemed to have enough indoor storage for our acreage and recreation equipment. My husband was always concerned about keeping the paint new to maximize on resale value as we seemed to change our equipment quite regularly.
The biggest issue was choosing a building site. Our acreage is all rolling hills and the flattest spot was also my view from our dining table. To a shed-lover like my husband, this was great, but to a naturalist like myself, this was less than ideal. In the end, my husband chose the location and I chose the colour. We now have a mid-grey or as I call it, "the colour of shadows," 42' x 60' shed tucked into the back of our acreage.
In regard to the building's construction, we expressed our concern over the construction not occurring while we had guests. The construction crew showed up the day after our company left.
The shed went up in the estimated day and a half. Over the years we have undertaken many construction projects and this was by far one of the most competent.
Thank you Goodon for showing great honour and pride in what you do!

I am very pleased with the Goodon building that was put up last summer. Everyone was very professional in their dealings with me. The building is put together very well and meets the needs that I have. I wanted a building for machine storage and also for grain storage. BY putting the grain package in the building, I have a dual-purpose building. I also like the clear span plexiglass for light to get into the building.

This is my story on building my Goodon building.
Two days after my building burned down, I was calling all the builders in my area. I was seriously considering another building. My neighbour called just to visit when I told him what I was considering (he has a competitor's building). He said he had some literature on a building from Canada and he had seen some and was very impressed. He said he would get me your phone number. He called me a couple of days later with the number. You know the rest.
I had never heard of Goodon, but he said they were a solid building.
All my neighbors are really impressed with my Goodon building, but if it weren't for my neighbour, I would have never heard of you. He didn't get your information until after his building was up.
I think my neighbour is entitled to a gift even if he doesn't have a Goodon building because he sure sold me one after I saw his brochures!"

Last October, I purchased a building from your organization. It was a 30' x 42' building. I am 70 years old and a carpenter by trade, and this was the first building that I have ever had built for myself.
I was impressed starting from when your employee answered the phone. Three weeks later, the material was on the job site and the crew there to do the construction. The quality of the workmanship and disposition of the workers was outstanding.
I have finished out a corner of the building for a heated workshop and am enjoying the rest for seasonal storage. Needless to say, I heartily recommend Goodon Industries for any project.

We received your letter late in December concerning our new building.
I would like to express our appreciation to the salesman, crew and staff. The selection of Goodon Industries to construct our building was well thought through with excellent results-we were fully satisfied.
The crew was fast and efficient wasting no time with all of our specifications met. The best way to describe the work crew was busy like bees until completion. The salesman was very courteous. We would definitely recommend this product for construction of other buildings to anyone who might have interest.

Ray Braun recently invested in a machine shed to protect and prolong the life of his machinery, which includes annual seeding, harvesting equipment as well as a tractor and feed wagon used daily.
"It's just nice to be able to go out in the morning, not have to worry about frost or snow, and just start the tractor," said Braun. "We've needed a building for quite a few years and finally made the decision to go ahead."
"With high replacement costs, it makes sense to do what you can to extend the life of your machinery. Keeping machinery covered should help reduce the maintenance costs." Braun commented on the quick rate of construction - once the crew was on site, the building took two days to erect. "We looked around, spoke to other farmers, and liked the Goodon package."

Last summer I purchased one of your buildings. I was very pleased with everything about your company. I liked the way your salesman handled the sale of the building. He was very accommodating and not just pushing to make a sale. Everything from delivery, right down to the erection crew coming on time, went right on schedule as you said it would.
I was really pleased and amazed at how fast the building went up.
The crew that put up the building was exceptional. They were very fast, neat, friendly and hardworking people.
As far as the building itself, I am very pleased with the quality of the lumber, the way it was put up and the price compared to others.
I know when I put up another building, I'm going with Goodon again, because I know now it will get put up right on schedule and with quality workmanship and materials.
Keep up the good work!

Warden Budd from Vulcan needed a machine shed fast."One of the important reasons I went with a Goodon building was because I knew that they could get the job done quickly," said Budd.
Budd said his experience with Goodons went smoothly from start to finish. "The salesman explained everything thoroughly to me and wasn't pushy about making a sale. I appreciated that. Everyone I dealt with was really friendly-from the truck driver to the crew. The crew was extremely efficient. Everyone had a specific job and knew how to do it well-there was no standing around waiting for direction."
Their machine shed needed to be quite high because of their modified combines. They have two doors at each end to facilitate movement of machinery-including Budd's restored Massey-Harris 55 Western Special. "I also like the ridge light which allows so much natural light in during the day," said Budd.
While the crew was at it, Budd had them erect a two-car garage.
"I really feel like I got the most bang for my buck,' said Budd.
